Recruitment windows

years 2, 3 & 4

Every second semester

We open applications for continuing students once every two semesters. Typically during the second semester of the academic year (January–March). Keep an eye on announcements.

new first‑years

Mid first semester

Specifically for incoming first‑year students: recruitment takes place halfway through the first semester (around October). This allows newcomers to settle before joining.


All recruitments are announced via departmental notice boards and our socials. Only shortlisted candidates are contacted.

What we look for

Skilled

You already have experience in CAD, embedded systems, simulation, or aerospace concepts. You want a platform to apply your skills in real projects and mentor others.

Upskilling

You are early in your journey but driven to learn. We provide structured guidance, workshops, and peer mentorship to help you grow into a capable researcher.

Attitude & fit

Curiosity, discipline, and collaboration matter more than grades. We look for people who ask questions, share ideas, and respect the team's ethos.

Research projects

Join ongoing teams working on aerodynamics, propulsion, avionics, and space systems. Co‑author internal papers and present at symposia.

Mentorship track

Every member is paired with a senior student or an industry mentor. Regular skill‑share sessions and one‑on‑one guidance.

Tool & lab access

Use of simulation software (ANSYS, OpenFOAM), 3D printers, Arduino kits, and our small wind tunnel during project work.

Workshops & talks

Exclusive invite‑only seminars with alumni, PhD candidates, and industry professionals. Past topics: CFD, CubeSats, career pathways.
