Upskilling Workshop Series(2026)

April – May 2026 (6 weeks) Trained by Aero Nova members ML · Arduino · Creo/SolidWorks/Fusion360

This spring, our own senior members led a transformative six‑week workshop series covering three critical engineering domains. Participants mastered Linear Regression models in Machine Learning, built real‑world embedded systems with Arduino microcontrollers, and gained hands‑on Computer Aided Design proficiency across Creo, SolidWorks and Fusion360. The weekly sessions combined theory, live coding, and hardware labs, culminating in integrated mini‑projects.

  • Linear Regression ML: from stats fundamentals to predictive modeling with Python
  • Embedded Systems with Arduino: sensors, actuators, serial communication & real-time control
  • CAD trinity: parametric modeling in Creo, assembly in SolidWorks, generative design in Fusion360

⚙️ Past intensive: Arduino for engineering applications (2025)

3–17 February 2025 24 participants 14 days · hands‑on

From sensor calibration to real‑time control logic — this two‑week sprint introduced embedded engineering fundamentals. Attendees built working prototypes using Arduino Uno, interfacing with IMUs, motor drivers, and data logging. A strong foundation for robotics, mechatronics and general engineering systems.

  • Final project: embedded data logger & actuator control
